Each piece of ceramic pottery is made completely by me in my home studio.  After creating the pot, I hand paint them using underglazes, many of the colors are my own custom mix.  Then the pottery is fired the first time, and once finished I brush on several coats of a high gloss glaze, then fire a second time.  Most of the plates and platters and a few of the large bowls have hangers on the back so you can hang them on the wall. 
All of my pottery is Lead Free, food safe, and can also go in the oven, microwave and dishwasher, although I do recommend hand washing.  Be careful not to use metal serving utensils as they may scratch the shiny surface.
